Default 94-96 Seats

Can someone post a picture of the "sport seats" vs. "regular seats" from the 1994-1996? I have always thought mine are the sport seats, well i know they are because they are power. But some of the pictures I have seen dont look like mine. Were they different every year? Please help! Also why is it you can find foam for any seat back to the sixties except for the 1994-1996 sport seats?
Thanks

Default Console Controls

Not a great photo, but you can see the seat design. You can also see the Sport Seat controls in the console for the lumbar, etc. You may have standard power seats, not sport seats. Look in the rear storage compartment, passenger side lid, for your RPO codes.

I have power seats on both sides and the three way lumbar as well. And design wise they look like yours. Do you know why the foam for these is not readily available like all the others?
Thanks

Default No idea.

Some of the others who have had their seats recovered may know if the foam is available separately. Based on the design, I would guess the leather and the foam are fused together somehow. I have seen the leather seat covers offered for sale and I believe the foam was attached.

Yeah, i have researched quite a bit and you can buy new foams for every kind of seat except the 93-96 sport seat. Kind of strange. I know the leather was glued on but the foam shouldnt be any harder to come by? Guess I will keep looking!
Thanks

Standard seats have rows of horizontal stitching just below the headrest. The Sport seats have one stitched line running from the top of seat back diagonally.....to the bottom. Pretty easy to distinguish

Ok so they are sport seats, next question. The bottoms on both sure seem to be similar? Does anyone know if they are interchangable?

You can get new foam for every type of seat on Mid America. Both the foam and leather has decent quality for about $1200 for BOTH seats in the two-tone style.

http://www.mamotorworks.com/corvette-1-52-3972.html

Just click on the '94-'96 base seat and you'll be able to choose between the standard and sport seats.

I got new two-tone foam and leather for my '90 ZR-1 and I chose to lose the power option just because I just liked the look of the base seats more than I liked the look of sport seats... Besides, with my big 6'6" azz, I don't need any side bolstering!

Thanks but that is for the covered set and way out of price range. I just want the foams.

http://willcoxcorvette.com/advanced_...?cPath=12_1415 WIlcox and many others offer the foam, really great price, for everything except 1996 sport seats

Again, does anyone know if the standard and sport seats are interchangable? They look the same size?
