It would help a lot if you told us what kind of trans you have, 6 speed or automatic.

I think mine was around $2K. New GM. Rebuild was 600 or so less. The warranty on new sold me. 90 days for rebuilt.

Post this in the C4 tech side with transmission trouble in the title and Pete K will chime in. He might have a trans for sale, I know he did a while ago. You couldn't buy from anyone more helpful or honest than Pete K.

I had my 700r rebuilt for $1200. what else can you do ??

I really don't know what I want to do. I don't know if I want to buy a new oem or rebuild this one to stock or build it up. Or should I buy a already built up trans. What are some of those options and prices? I am i really lost in this situation thanks guys for all the help.
