Poor thing! :( :(
I was in Florida the past few days checking out a C3 for my friend Steven in Belgium.
I got back to the Palm Beach Airport a bit early for my flight and decided to drive down to the ocean and look around.
I saw this poor neglected C4 (looks like an 86). It was sitting near the bridge going across Worth Basin in Palm Beach.
What a disgrace. As I was taking the pic I saw a good sized Gecko crawl out from what was left of the car cover.

I looked at this 81 in Ft Pierce. The guy that was selling it does custom Camaro work. He had 2 that he was working on. These were both 68s that he hauled out of scrap yards. Both were painted white and then taped off for the traditional stripes and the rest of the car was painted orange and then 3 coats of clear. He replaces the frames, body and floor panels and totally guts them. They are tubbed to accept up to 14" rear tires and fitted with a new interior and juiced up motors. One of them had a GMPP LS2 motor in it already.
He then sells them to wealthy boomers or pro athletes for big bucks. He really does some nice work and his 81 reflected it. The Vette will be shipped to Belgium in August.

If it aint a sin...
...it sure ought to be! I hoped and prayed for ( lusted for, to be completely honest) a 'Vette since I was 8 years old and I just can't believe a person could own a piece of American history and just let it rot away like this! My gosh, what a crying shame!!!

Some people can't fix em but can't bear to part with them either; So they just sit and rot! The guy that owns it probably wants three times what it is worth because he has no idea how badly he's devalued it by his own neglect.
