Default tire size help

hope someone knows the answer, right now i have 275/40/17 on front of 90 vette and 315/35/17 on rear i bought some 18 inch rims 10 for the frt/12 for the rear what size tire should i run frt/rear so to keep the same rake angle. the rears will be 315/30/18 or 335/30/18 so what size frt thanks for your help geo.

All you need is to keep the same overall diameter the same. That will preserve your rake as well as the speedo accuracy.

YOUR FRIEND

So, to keep your stock diameters:

FRONT: 285/35-18 (speedo will read 0.8% slow)
REAR: 315/30-18 (speedo will read 0.9% too fast)

335/30-18 will also work on the rear, with the speedo reading 1.0% too slow

Also, I realize the speedo isn't connected to the front wheels. It's just a reference for how much bigger/smaller the diameter of the tire is.
