Starting Problems ????
1996 LT1 COUPE AUTOMATIC
Hi All,
This morning I hopped in the Vette to go for a spin. Turned the key and ---nothing---. Tried the lights and they were bright. Still wouldn't start. Battery is 4 months old. Took out the daily driver and came home about 2 hrs later. Hooked up the meter and it showed 12.8 volts-then I turned the key to see if there was a drop in voltage when attempting to start.---IT STARTED RIGHT UP.
Charging showed 14.6. Now I am afraid to shut it off anywhere for fear this will happen again. Any hints or tips on what I should check next?? No codes shown.

You May Be Right----the First Time I Attempted To Start It (in A Dark Garage) I Had The Key Upside Down When I Tried To Put It In The Ignition. Naturally It Didnt Go In, But I'm Wondering If That Could Have Triggered The Anti-theft, Since It Started Up A Couple Of Hours Later.
