Default Humorous threads or posts

While I've only been a forum member for about a year I've already found that some posters just "have a way with words."

Without subjecting anyone to ridicule...can you more seasoned forum guys provide links to what have been some of the funnier moments here on the C4 forum?

I guess in one of those cases you refer upon, the "search function" would be recommended...

Sure is any time someone says " use the search function" they get humored all over. It seems some people who are too lazy to use it think that even mentioning it is taboo. I find that quite humorous.

Anyway here is something funnier.......

An attorney arrived home late, after a very tough day trying to get a stay. His last minute plea for clemency to the governor had failed and he was feeling worn out and depressed.

As soon as he walked through the door at home, his wife started on him about, 'What time of night to be getting home is this? Where have you been? 'Dinner is cold and I'm not reheating it'. And on and on and on.

Too shattered to play his usual role in this familiar ritual, he went and poured himself a shot of whiskey and headed off for a long hot soak in the bathtub, pursued by the predictable sarcastic remarks as he dragged himself up the stairs.

While he was in the bath, the phone rang. The wife answered and was
told that her husband's client, James Wright, had been granted a stay of
execution after all. Wright would not be hanged tonight.

Finally realizing what a terrible day he must have had, she decided to go upstairs and give him the good news.

As she opened the bathroom door, she was greeted by the sight of her husband, bent over naked, drying his legs and feet. 'They're not hanging Wright tonight,' she said. To which he whirled around and screamed,

'FOR THE LOVE OF GOD WOMAN, DON'T YOU EVER STOP?!

Default Not a C4 but my all time favorite here on CF...

"650hp just seems so-so for a 100K car", a comment made about the new ZR1.

Post this in "off topic" and you will probably be reading all night. There isn't much that hasn't been discussed over there and there are some real comics who hang out there.

What I'm trying to do is keep it pretty much to C4 humor.

I've particularly enjoyed the threads where somone says something like:

"i wanna stick a stroked & blown 572 big block w/ AFR 357 heads and 12:1 compression into a C4 frame with a Dana 36. Should I go with the Felpro 1748 or 1749 head gaskets?"

I find that one to be PDF [pretty damned funny]

I found that "wings" thread to be hilarious.

I recently read a year old thread by a seasoned & respected C4 forum poster where his engine build proved wildly successful...

As was evidenced when his tranny blew up on one of the dyno pulls...

I doubt he was focused on humor at the time of his post but I'm sure he can see it that way now.
