Silly question

I only have one rattle in my c4 and it is the shifter bezel. It only started recently and I blamed it on the terrible roads in Utah. Yesterday my husband was riding with me and noticed a hole in one of the cup holders that looks like it might possibly be meant for a screw? Can anyone please verify this?

The front cupholder hole should have a screw in the bottom of it, under the rubber. There are also 2 screws under the carpet inside the center console, at both corners that hold the shifter bezel down, just for something else to check. The carpet peels right back.

Great, think that is my squeek problem! By the way, you mention under the rubber so i assume the cup holders should have a liner? Any idea where I can buy those?
