Default 4th Grade Classroom Help

School starts for many of us teachers next week. My beginning of the year theme will be, Driven For Success. I am looking for a good link of a C4 that the students can color. I want to put there names either on it or above or below it and let them color it and hang it by their coat rack. If you have any other ideas that would be fun for fourth grade students let me know. I am going to do a lot of graphing with them on different years, number of models sold, colors, coupes, or verts. Then let them try to figure out which ones should be the most valuable. I will also have them write an add for Corvettes. Send ideas and a coloring picture of the C4 please. Thanks, Mr. Miller's 4th grade class.

Great idea

I just did a quick Google search of images for corvette clip art and found quite a few. You should by all means contact the owner of the website/art and ask permission to use their images.

I can't imagine anyone would deny a fourth grade class use.

Here is a link to one nice sketch of an 82 [ http://www.msbae.net/Multimedia%20-%20Drawings.htm ]
The specific image I saw was, http://www.msbae.net/Content/Multime...%20(Final).jpg

Hope this helps, and wish you had been my 4th grade teacher

Just found another link; http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/...aw-cars-16.jpg

I remember when i started Junior High School our shop teacher had a brand new Black 61 Corvette. We used to get to school early my friend and I and go out back in the teachers parking to look at it. He once had a small fender bender and I still could see that front fender and the riped fiberglass. These cars do have a lasting impression on young minds.

I did my college prep english paper on the Corvette. I think it was one of the only papers I ever wrote that I did more then one hours research on. If you need production numbers obviously the Corvette Black Book is a must have. Kids are lucky to have such a cool teacher!

That is what got me hooked. My kindergartner teacher had 2 brand new late 90’s when I was school. Gave me a reason to go to school. So I could see the car . They were yellow and red

Thats cool what you are doing. Wish I could of had a teacher like you when I was growing up. What you are doing is going to be remembered by most of these kids for the rest of their life.

And im sure some of them will be corvette owners someday

Drew this up for you. Sorry but I don't put anything on the web without tagging it first. You can put a paper over the link before you photocopy it. If you want me to add or change anything I can. I have no art talent but I don't think a bunch of 10 year olds are going to be harsh critics.

How about a rear view and put names in the license plate area?

If you would like a link to the vid of a Corvette cruize with nice sound clip overlay I can supply the link.

Also maybe you can find some vids of the C6Rs, talk about driven for success.

And ECSCC has many vids of Vettes competing down the 1/4 mile.
