Door Sill Carpet, Quick Question
Hey guys just wondering how to get that door sill carpet off??
i've taken the screws out from the side after opening the door but it seems the carpet doesn't come off. are there clips or something holding it down and i gotta move the carpeting in a certain way to get it loose?..
any help is appreciated

You got to remove the plastic piece on the top R/H side then will the screws out you just pull it up its got some tar like glue under it the carpet is glued to a fiberglass piece so it will come out in one whole assembly

so its just tar like glue holding the piece down? now what about reassembly?? i'll need to glue this back down again right?? also is there anything to watch out for when trying to take this piece off.

Well if you have the plastic of did you take off the plastic that goes around the parking brake? I think you may need to take it off as well??.. maybe not I cant remember..
but just lift it out you wont break it, oh the weather striping up by the top front of the door the one with metal in it...onthe inside.....it rests on top of it... but you should be able to just lift out that piece.. :yesnod:
