Default coolant bypass

does anyone have a picture of the coolant bypass done on there lt1
as the directions said i took off the left and right hoses under the throttle body .but there both 3/8 hoses the kit comes with a fitting that is 5/8 on one side and 3/8 on the other? am i missing something here. maybe i pulled off the wrong hoes? any help is appreciated.

I don't know what year yours is.
I did the bypass a few years ago on my '88. I don't recall the details, but I posted these pics then.
Maybe these can help.

LT1 is different.

When I did it on my LT4 I didn't use a kit. Just rerouted the hose.

Move 1 to 2. Remove the yellow elbow.

Yes it added like 100hp but some of that could have been the air foil I did at the same time.

It made it easier to remove the TB not much else.
