I was at a buddies Saturday night and he backed straight into my 84
. He hit the drivers side front right at the headlight. It broke the headlight assembly, crushed the corner of the hood, and pushed the bumper down a few inches. Anyone had experience with this kind of damage? I'm worried that it might get totaled by the insurance company. The car was in slightly below average condition before the accident and I'm guessing the repair would be somewhere in the neighborhood of $2500-$3500, nada says the low retail is $6800 (seems high??). What do you guys think? Am I screwed? The insurance adjuster is supposed to give me a call tomorrow. I'll keep ya informed.
