Big surprise it's on a 90. Getting a code 16 and 42 What do those translate to? Should I just clean the frame rails? I got it to reset but it will probably turn back on knowing my luck.
FYI: It is not commonly know but a simple "low voltage" condition can trigger a SIR (Supplemental Inflatable Restraint) system failure code. In my case it was a combination of failing battery/alternator while operating a CB radio and blowing the horn all at the same time! A new battery and alternator fixed that.

The infl rest bulb was burned out, would that set the 42?
It might have set off #42 If your gonna clean the frame rail and sensor remember to DISSCONNECT THE BATTERY. Then apply some dielectric grease to the frame area and bottom of the sensor before re installing it. Then try to clear out the codes. GOOD LUCK Pipe
