Just somebody that needs to go back and train some more. I was taught in the academy and all training never put your finger on the trigger unless you intend to shoot. Yes, I am a Deputy Sheriff, and I like C4's..

If she had really been on target, she would have killed that guy!
She acted like she was more scared of the gun than the guy on the ground...until it went off. At that point, he probably thought, If they couldn't hit me at point blank range, they probably won't hit me while I'm up and running, especially if I'm unloading this poop from my pants along the trail!!!

Kind of funny how people make assumpations. 
Did anyone consider that the cop just happened to take the bad guy down near a parked car that just happened to be a Corvette?
Could be the Vette has nothing to do with the arrest. That just maybe there wasn't even a car involved in this situation?
As for the accidental discharge, that's another story.
