Default Jon are you here ?? Question about

schrader valve for fuel pressure,I was just going to check my pressure and noticed the cap to the valve was very lose,as soon as I touched it gas was coming out of it. Is this normal or could this be my problem ?? I tightened it and she started right up(coincidence)? Or does this just mean my fuel pressure regulator is done and this might be the solution ??

Jim the schraeder valve should not leak. The cap is not a seal but a dust cap. The schraeder itself has a o ring seal inside the valve. You should replace it as soon as you can as a leaky valve is a potential for a big disaster. If it is leaking over night it could very well be your intermitant starting problem since it will bleed off the rail pressure.
