Default 1987-1990

I have a 1987-1990 (Unsure of the date since I have not purchased this vechicle yet) But I have a Corvette, and the engine has a rod knocking. I have a 1973 Oldsmobile 98 that has a 454 engine in, could I drop that engine into the Corvette? I also have a 350 engine could that work?

No. and yes the 350 block would work if you did some work to it. No was for the Big Block unless you want to rebuild the front end of the Vette. Cheaper to buy a running C4

If the Olds engine is like the Chevy 454, you can use it, but there are alot of mods, and it could be expensive. If the 350 has a one piece rear main seal, it will work no problem. If it is a two piece, you will need to change the flywheel/flexplate, and maybe the pan.

Default 350 motor

The 350 motor would be coming from a 1979 GMC truck, do you think I would have any problems then what you guys think?

Engine is currently in running condition but needs some cleaning up.

And the reason for doing this is because I can get the corvette really cheap for about $800

i would rebuild the original engine with topnotch internals and everything
trying to save in engine stuff won't be good on the long run.-
try to get it for $ 500 and fix the original engine
