What to do???

It will rub the clear coat right off. Good Luck.
Find a map of Louisiana, look for Lafayette, then look at Gustav's path.
I am staying right here...I rescued for Katrina and Rita....Katrina were a bunch of animals, and Rita (where I rescued) was good ole cajuns that were as polite as they come...very thankful, and to this day I get a visit from a 68 y/o Cajun lady who makes pecan pies.
the state police let us return to homes with the families for Rita (Katrina had murderers and all we could do was bring people to safety out of the city)...this lady remembered my name, looked me up in the phone book, called me for my address, and shows up each year on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving so I have a fresh pumpkin pie to bring to the deer camp for Thanksgiving hunting.
Back to the car, it has the usual 80 zillion minute rock chips from a Vette that has over 100k on the clock...let Gustav pay for a paint job if he wants to.
My Silverado has a Tonnuea cover, I can drive up the road, and sleep in it if I want to....
As it stands now....I got a large A/C unit in my shop, TV, stereo and a freezer in there and enough generator power to run the shop, but not the house...I can make ice, play a DVD, and hook up a guitar, amp, bass guitar and out small Beringer amp....basically, if I have a shelter still standing, I can, cook, drink, play music and party
....or I can rescue and cut trees.....hmmmmm?Jim
I got the outdoor stove ready, food to cook, water, and food that doesnt need to be cooked....stocked up on brews too!
I ain't too worried, whatever happens happens, and it happens for a reason. Good luck with the storm, if you want somewhere to go, I could take you in!

You can do what you want. The hurricanes can damn sure do what they want. Top pics were from Rita then came Wilma. Here is my street. Waterfront property for a day.

Here is my yard. Only about $1000 damage to the Vette. Not worth the claim. The insurance paid for about 1/2 my new metal roof.
