Default Less Is Best

Anyone feel like i do. I don't have (Bose, Auto Climate Cont., Power Passenger Seat, FX3, Low TP Sensor Warning, Transparent Roof Panel, etc etc) after reading of the problems some of you guys are having with some of the options it doesn't hardly seem worthwhile. I don't at all begrudge anyone with all factory options but i am totally happy with my ZF-6 Speed and Power Driver Seat. Maybe it even weighs a little less, DOES THAT MAKE IT GO FASTER? Have a GREAT DAY. ;)

I would bet it does weigh less... and it is less complex!!

I don't have the FX3, either... or the low pressure thingy... but I have most everything else... but no auto! I shift me self!

My car has just about ever option except the glass roof, electronic A/C, and ZR-1.

I even have the FX3 and yes it's broken. From what I hear it can actually be set up to be a very nice system for about what it costs to make it perform like stock. I'm not upset at all about having that one, even if it is broken. Power seats? Oh yes, wouldn't live without them, I'm suprised more vehicles don't have power passenger seats. I've never actually seen a car in person that has a problem with power seats.

As far as the stereo, I wish Bose would fall off the planet. It should not be hard to put a stereo in the car. I finally got the head unit installed, now if I could just do something with the terrible speakers without butchering the car.
Glass top? I kinda wish I had that one as well, I just don't have anywhere to store it, so I guess it's alright, I don't see this as really being a problem if you have it or don't.

The one thing that I am 100% certain I don't want is electronic A/C. What a POS that is, we had a rental car that had that once, JUNK. I mean should it be rocket science to turn on the vent. I don't need the car to keep it exactly at 73..2 degrees, thank you I'll change it myself as conditions change. Some things are best to keep simple, that one especially. I wouldn't mind the outside temp readout, just because it would be neat, but the rest of it I can do without.

Less is faster? Certainly. There is one guy in the local car club who ordered a new SS camaro specifically without ANY options. He consistently runs .2 faster than everybody else.
