Headlight Question

What causes the headlight motor to spin even thought the headlight is in the up position on a 1988? Thanks

More then likely a bad gear or bushing time to replace them. If you unplug the motor dose it stop & which direction is it spinning in up or down.

Your bushings are mush.

I just did mine a few weeks ago, and it was a piece of cake. Maybe 45 minutes for the first light, 15 for the second.

Most likely stripped gears. If it suits you, they can be locked in the up position until you get the gears and/or bushings replaced. Just a thought if money is tight.
