I have a 92 chevy silverado shortbed with a 5.7 TBI motor. I have acquired a set of LT1 lauminum heads and intake with TB and injectors. What major mods would i need to do to mate this combo with the engine i have in the truck now. I have a .020 over 350 with Kieth Black pistons, balanced crank and mild cam. I will chose another cam for the combo but would love some opinions on a "hotter" cam. I have heard that the distributor setup is completely different from the one i have. Will i have to make major modifications to the injector wiring harness switching from 2 inj to 8 inj?
Sell the heads, (dont need them and they arent worth sinking money into anyway) theres a guy here that does the conversion on the intake reasonably, last I saw he had a thread in the parts for sale somewhere.
Dont have a clue on the wiring issue, cant help ya there.

Just modify the intake for the motor you already have. the gain (if any) from the heads is not worth the work involved.
You would also be better off to go to Street and Performance or someplace like that and get a setup to run it.
check out fullsizechevy.com. There are a few guys on there that have done full LT-1 swaps and TPI intake swaps. Personally, I'd sell the LT-1 goodies and swap on a TPI intake. You'll get a lot of low-end torque that your truck will just love and it's a MUCH easier swap. The LT-1 intake will have to be modified for your distributor and the tuning will be more difficult than the TPI swap.
