hood shipping

i am in the market for a hood but the one that i wanted to buy i couldn't get it shipped for under $500. anyone know of a cheaper way?

Remember they are big and heavy..So Frt is about only way it will ship..Also depends where it's coming from..3-5 is normal..Don't forget the insurance..The corners could break

i am aware that they are big and expensive to ship! the shipping quotes have been like $500 plus the cost of the hood?!? i am trying to find the cheapest place that will ship them. i have a hood i am interested in buying already.
