Temp control
I have cleaned the rad/condsr, changed the thermost, new antifrze, and the car stays around 195-204 degree's. I am old school and the cooler the better. I was told to keep the oem thermostat because of the fuel injection. Any tips or changes I should look into? I have an 86 vert/ 80000 miles

Your temps are ideal/normal for the l98. Installing a colder thermostat will not lower the temps. The only way to do that is to change the temps at which the fan(s) come on.
