acting stupid!
Well I painted my calipers, adjusted tv cabled , steamed underneath parts, and stuff but, I still need elbows for my exhaust made on monday so, it is very loud straights, after 
then I took it out on my very usually quiet secluded neighborhood (trees and water) and got on it for shifting!! well anyway my wife said it was very loud and the neighbors probably are ticked off but, I am the quietest neighbor until this weekend! whoops

You verify the TV cable adjustment under normal throttle, like leaving a light. It should shift at these speeds:
1-2 around 18mph
2-3 around 33mph
OD will shift around 45 on these stock
That is from the guy that built my trannies for the last couple of hot rods. He builds race units and still gets requests from all over the country (he is retired now) from race to restoration so he does them as a side business now. Pete K may have better info but this seems to work.
