is their any one running this rims on a c4. id like to see some pictures if so.ive been looking for something different and something is a reasonable price range, unlike the nice CCW's and such...
i know this is a c5 wheel guys i wonted to see if anyone is running this on a c4. i know this are on c5s but i wana see if they look to big on c4s. i wont something different that everyone else doesnt have on thier car
Im thinkin about making a change from my solid black C5 Z06 rims to those... I like the lip. A lot. And they are extremely inexpensive.
**EDIT**
Ok well... I just talked it over with my pops whos opinion I care about the most. And I think Im going to pick them up. He says he likes them more then my Z rims and that for the price I would be SILLY not to use them.
So I guess I will be making the phone call monday!
Shake. If you like my Z's... Let me know. I will donate them to a good cause if you want

They wont look too big. The standard staggared set up for most guys with C4's are 17/18... Thats what I have on my car now.
The offset on those wheels is not correct for your 87. 84 thru 87 cars used a 38mm offset and the 88-96 cars used a 56mm offset. For the fronts, you could use a 3/4 to 1" adapter to get the wheel to sit properly in the wheelwell. The 56mm offset causes the later wheels to sit that 3/4" further inside the wheelwell but even with a 275/40-17 tire mounted, you should not get any rubbing at full lock.
IF the wheel mounting flange (inside face) of these wheels are flat with no recesses, the chances are that adapters may not evenwork. Most adapters come with acorn-style lug nuts to attach them to the hub. These nuts will stick out past the face of the adapter where the wheel mounting flange will sit. If the wheel does not have recesses for the top of the nut, it's not going to work. I would contact the seller before buying to make sure you can adapt these wheels to the 87.
The rear wheel at 10" wide and the 56mm offset will probably cause the inside of a tire to rub on a suspension component.
AFS Wheels (also a eBay seller) has ZR-1 style wheels that have the proper offset for 84-87 cars.
BTW I've seen C4's with 18 on the rear - looks fine, the rear tire has a lower profile that's all. No idea how the affect the ride tho (my car stock setup is too soft anyway)
im not worried about the off set. i can correct that.
i just wana see them on another car before i buy them, im not going to be the one with some stupid looking equipment on my car. but im really feeling the lip on the rims

I believe you can get the center caps plain with no logo if you wanted. I have C5 wheels on my ride now. Doesn't ride any different. Got a used powerprogrammer so I could correct the speedometer though. I also love the look of the offset wheels.
Yes, the rims from your second thread. I just couldn't justify the high end wheels & like you wanted something not everyone else had so I went with the chrome and the Nexen tires. Hope they hold tight in the Arizona heat. So if you can wait until the 2nd week of Oct. & I can figure out Photo bucket you will have your pictures.
Not to steal your thread but that makes my ZR-1's available. All 9 1/2" x 17. Silver/Gray, polished lip, zero curb rash. Will post pictures of those too.
