Default Launching LT1 auto

what is the secret to launching a LT1 auto without spinning the tires? I have never owned an automatic that would spin the tires so easily from a dead stop. I have new Firestone SZ50's so I don't think the tires are the problem. This car is unreal. :D

Given my wu-name (see sig below) I shouldn't comment on this, but I think one really important factor is the tires. Try drag radials and your wheel spinning will go down as well as your 60-foot times.

If your serious about this you'll need drag radials at a minium. Gears and convertor next, this will allow you to use your power.

You haven't driven an auto L98 with 3.07s. Nothing quite like smoking the tires in overdrive at half throttle!

You could say that again. My street tires have been back on for the last month and I can spin the tires forever from a 10-15 mph roll.

And, I have 17x11 rims with 315 tires.
