Nothing is selling right now. If you like the car and the color grab it.
Think the yuppies these days are driving leased bimmers and Prius, not an old C4. Noone will notice you trust me.

The nice C4s will eventually go up in value. The junk ones will never be likely to appreciate much. I can't say if the later ones will be more desired in years to come, all C4s will be transitioning to classic status in the next decade or so and then it is all about condition and what original engine it has. They produced around 100,000 C4s with the LT1 engine so I don't ever see them being the most sought after or collectable. For now they are the driver cars along with the L98s but a low mileage well preserved clean example will always be appreciated and in demand.

C5s in my area are dropping in price like Banks on Wall (ripoff) Street, C6s seem to be holding but in the next few weeks anything could happen. It's a buyer's market to be sure, just very difficult to find anything clean, so many non-vette folks purchased these cars during the boom and never spent any money on them. Just drove them into the ground, hey cocaine and hookers cost a lot of money! These neo-yuppie mortgage brokers and their types ruined many a good vette.

I have always liked the Polo Green cars, but since you are paying for it get what you like. I however am partial to Admiral Blue with the stupid white stripes down the middle.
I would like to find some of those GS's that are selling for upper teens and lower 20's as posted above though. I could turn that into a daily driver and never lose any money on that for a long time.
