I'm not knocking the C4. I'm just wondering if it's not a "guy thing". I bought my 85 hoping to scoop up the babes but it really didn't work out that way.
Since buying the 05 Crossfire Roadster, I've had to fight them off with my big stick. They'll just jump in asking for a ride.
I hope to pick up a ZR1 to get my ya-ya's but I'll hang on to the Roadster until some future wife tells me to sell it.
Girls don't fear the Crossfire. They feel safe with the driver. They know the driver will do absolutely nothing to them or try to do anything. I always diesel-up my wife's little Cyber green VW beetle. Girls like that car too.
well considering people refer to my 96 as an "OLD VETTE" and usually the golddigger type aren't looking for guys driving c4's, they are looking for the guys with the new high dollar cars with deep pockets.
Lease a cheap bimmer or a Prius.
I hear a battered old ricer draws them in too.
My best friend drives a 4000 dollar 1990 dark green BMW thats fading badly with cheapo aftermarket rims. The ladies cling to him. They think it's such a "sweet" and "sexy" car. It's a 4 cylinder sedan...he has blown 2 head gaskets because he pushes it as hard as it will go all the time. Im talking doing 60 in a 35. He claims to have had it up to 135. It's bone stock and heavy. I doubt it but he does drive like a maniac. Alot of other stuff is wearing out and breaking faster than he can repair it. Of course, since it's a BMW, it's the best damn thing in the world according to his GF and all her lady friends...They have not seen my car but sheesh, I doubt they would give a hoot about it. Oh well, mine is paid off and he still owes 3000 on his. Did I forget to mention he lost control of his BMW coupe (4 cylinder) before he got this one and totaled it taking a curb to fast. That thing handled awful!
Hell Yes !!!!! Since I bought the '91 I get all kinds of attention. It is a convertable though. Plus, they get good look at me that way. That may be part of the attraction..........
If you are a female over the age of 32, you have a good chance of thinking a C4 is sexy. Usually those chicks still have feathered hair, still wear acid washed jeans and think Whitesnake and Poison are rad.
If you are a female under the age of 31, you probably think that the owner of a C4 represents a guy who rocks gold medallions, Gargoyle sunglasses and still doesn't know who Fallout Boy and Good Charlotte are.
Me, I don't care. I drive my C4 because they kick *** and don't cost $50,000 to own. I will say, I get more looks at the stop light, but its usually from a fellow Vette owner or from another dude who thinks the car rocks. Chicks these days think a Vette is a brand and not a Chevy.

You do have a point. The vert would certainly help (presuming the driver doesn't look like a over-stuffed slob).
I'm moving to Columbia S.C. hoping to reel in a georgous southern belle. I hear the guy to gal ratio there is very favorable.
I can take the lady on the town in the Roadster, then burn up the streets in a ZR1.
Why buy a car to try and get women??? If you need a car for that then you sound like you have others issues that the car just wont make up for. Dont want to seem like an ***, thats just my opinion.
I have a C4 and my girlfriend likes it. But that doesn't have anything to do with why she likes me. Maybe you should join a Corvette club and find a single chick in it.
In all honesty, I think a lot of young girls (< 30 years old) don't like Corvettes due to them having a stigma of a midlife crisis car-the kinda that "creepy 50 year old men" drive.
I bought my Corvette for me. Never used as a tool to meet a woman. Any girl that would want to be with a guy just because they drive a Corvette is a BIMBO, and the guy with the car will get what he deserves.
Any guy that buys a Corvette just so he can pick up a girl is a loser.
If you want a 18-25 year old skinny 95 pound chick with DDD implants and no brains then you'll need a Civic with a CF hood, 2 ft. rear wing, 22" wheels, sound system costs more than the car, coffee can sized exhaust pipes and lots and lots of Japanese writing on the sides. But if you want to impress a Lady then a clean vette, good manners and a little class will go a long ways in achieving your goals.

My wife likes it, but then again I'm one of those creepy 50(+) year old men. I bought mine because I've wanted a Vette since I was about 5, not to impress anybody else.
