Another satisfied Crossbar user.
Got my Crossbar from R-D Racing today and it certainly did as claimed. Rear of the car is much stiffer now. Only problem I had was UPS killed the box and the crossbar got a small smudge in it's finish... but not noticable unless you look the bar up and down. Camber brace is next!

How much was it, and how hard is it to install?
I want one really bad, hoping it'll hush some of my rattles.

I might look into one for the 93. The EM one I have was a bitch to get in and I had to cut the carpet up.

Re: Another satisfied Crossbar user. (Mr Mojo)
It was $250 on a GP (I think the GP is done for now thou) and it took about an hour to install (At night using a flashlight :) ) Only had to cut a tiny area of the carpet that sits under the targa top holders, even if you were to take the bar out, the cut carpet would be hidden. If ya ask me ,it's worth the non-GP price!

Whoa! When did the price become $350?!?!?!?!?
That's more than my EM bar!
$250 on a GP was a great deal compared to $350.
Anyway I thought the price used to be around $200?

I'm with Mojo. I would really like one but the $350 keeps scaring me off.

Re: Another satisfied Crossbar user. (Springer's 95)
Well, I got the crossbar in December with the GP. It was the first real mod for my '92 and let me tell you, it was soooo worth it! I had to go back to the dealership where I bought 'er and the sales guy was all over it! He took the car out for a short spin and was blown away.
Hey, do I get a commision if I sell any of these? :yesnod:

How about getting together ANOTHER GP?
I'd be in for 250.

Ditto. Easy install. Totally reversable. Top Quality. Excellent Support. Works as advertised. Worth the money.
Sorry if you missed the GP, but it's still worth it.

Hey does anyone have any pictures? I have been thinking of getting one but it has to be able to or have some adapters that I can mount my video camera and 5 point harnesses. :yesnod:

It comes with a camera mount and can be used with a 5 point also.

Re: Another satisfied Crossbar user. (Springer's 95)
Thanks Springer
Can you tell me if the bar hinders the seat movement any when someone has their seat all the way back? The bar looks great and if that is not a problem I just may get one, but I would much rather it be with a GP like before.

Seat goes back all the way. The mounting brackets offset the bar a couple inchs to the rear.

I wish I had the money for it. But my car needs injectors. Hopefully another gp will roll around.
