Default Do you remember your first post ?

How did you get here ?
I Found the CF thru google, even thou it confused me because the theme header was always a C5,i thought it was more like a C5 forum, but i was wrong,it was the same as "thirdgen.org" but for the Corvette world, that was exactly what i was looking for...

Well i signed up here, before i had my 87,i was deciding between
a 87, a 85 and another 87...it was tough, not more than those cars to decide, saving the money (specially tough here in Chile, and find a vette)
Wow it's been a long but short at the same time ride !!!!
thanks everyone !

Hi ! New here
How are everyone ?
Im currently lookin for a C4
Ive been told that AT vettes are so much different than the MT
On MT you can really feel the power and the AT are not so funny to drive around, the problem is almost all the C4's i have found are
automatics !!!
Please tell me more, you will help a lot in my choice
thanx !

It was 8 years ago. I was a much younger man. Much water has passed under the bridge since. But I'm certain I made a couple of n00b posts here and there.

It was so long ago, owning a C4 wasn't quite the hanging offense it is today

Owning one and not driving it. The youngest one is 12 years old so why treat them like gold? It is just a car after all.

No, I think he means they way you will get run at hanging out in Off Topic. Just head over there and express your love for the C4 and see what it will get you.

Oh yeah, but now they're beginning to focus on the C5.
In OT I think they eat their young as well

What is the story behind the glass enclosed '88?

I think I posted on here back in '01, which was about 13 years after getting my first C4 vette ('85 red/red 4+3 coupe, very rare).

If I remember he decided to drive it into his enclosed glass porch to store for the winter. He got a lot of compliments. Here is the link to the old thread if you want to read up on it:

Sheesh, I can't remember that far back (almost 9 years now).

But I do remember being a crewmember on our own CF submarine, the USS CorvetteForum SSB Y2K I was on the Gold Crew as Chief of the missle section.

Later on, there was the carrier USS ZAD CVN 79. (Zora Arkus Duntov)

Hey....I was a crew member on USS ZAD as well. I was the ATS (alternate transportation specialist) LOL. Those were the days. Willa threads, ricers make baby jesus cry, why do men have nipples....OT was a hoot in those days.

We're getting to be serious CF old timers.
