Hi guys , i have an 85 tpi C4 , it was running beautiful going down the highway then all of the sudden it started to knock in the engine and i lost power. it has oil and great oil pressure. but when i rev it up i get knocking right above cyl 1 & 3 . any sudgestions?

sounds like the #1 or #3 rockers have loosened up or a pushrod screwed itself through the rocker. pull the rocker cover and look at what you have.

Get a mechanics stethoscope (or use a long metal rod, like a long screwdriver) and "Listen" for the noise - this will help pinpoint the source - particularly if it's Outside the motor.
The Only thing that could be "knocking" near the fuel rail would be an injector. Normally you should be able to hear the injectors "clicking" - something loud enough to call a "knock" would be unusual, and Could be a dead injector - I suppose...
