Scorp,
I saw your thread on the Hella headlight upgrade. I have one question. What happens to the high beams? If the high beam function is disabled, is the light produced by the H4 Xenon upgrade bright enough on unlit roads? Thanks in advance and as usual, that is a complete and extremely professional and comprehensive how-to.

High beams are not disabled. The H4 bulb is a dual filament/power bulb. That is what H4 means, dual mode. :) These bulbs put out PLENTY of light for any unlit road. :D They put out light equivalent to 90W in low beam, and 130W in high beam.
Scorp have you seen any difference between the Hella assemblies and those Euro cut glass assemblies that you find on the internet? Those Euro ones look  and one has what it calls a parking light bulb that plugs into the assembly also. I think it was a orange bulb that they advertised.
