After I sold my '90 Corvette to my Dad, for some strange reason, I kinda missed it. My Dad keeps calling me to tell me all the tweaks he's made to the 'Vette and how good it runs now. He says it's almost violent. He told me he got his first thumbs up from another 'Vette the other day. A C-3. Yes, he's getting into the "lifestyle" just fine.
.......but where does that leave me?! The '90 is 800 miles away if I want to play with it. That is unacceptable! Sooooooooo............
Guess what I brought home today?
.....YES, I have all the pieces for the headlights. He removed them to replace the nose. The rest of the body and paint is beautiful.
Get rid of the 4x4 tires and lame stock wheels and you got yourself a nice ride!!
Yeah, the rear tires are too big. They're 275/ 60R15's. The front has 255's. I'm gonna get two more T/A's in that size for the rear. Then I'll drop the back so they fit properly. As far as the wheels go, I really like them. I was excited when I saw that it still had them. They're gonna stay.
C3's are fun! Is that a one piece front end or did one of the previous owners glass in the front bumper. Looks nice!
It's a replacement glass nose that the seams were filled in. I'm gonna go over it again and clean up the rough spots, but it wasn't a bad job. The body work and paint on this car should be a breeze. I can't wait to see it black with tangerine pearl ghost flames.
