Sticking throttle???
My throttle sticks just a bit off idle- like there is some resistance, then it breaks loose- I did a search on this and have ruled out interference under the dash, I have lubed the throttle cable best I could with dry fim lubricant, I have scrubbed out the throttle body with cleaner and a toothbrush, I have cheacked the TPS for binding and the linkages are free. I saw a post somewhere about the throttle blade adjustments and the blades vacuum locking closed from manifold vacuum- I am starting to think this may be the culprit- however the idle is rock solid, and it is running great- I hesitate to mess with it. I have had other TPI & MPFI engines and have never had an issue like this.

I had this problem on my 89 last year also. Have you tried to lube the "return" spring. This spring is a coil type located at the TB near the cable attachment lever. I used a light weight machine oil and slowly applied a few drops at a time. Hand operate the throttle to open and close position several times and re-apply. Worked for me.
