Default 86 pace car ?

Does anyone here have, or can point me in the direction of, pictures of a 1986 pace car. I need one of the medium grey metallic WITH the indy decals installed. If you know the correct color combo for the decals for the grey car that would help. Yello and red cars are easy to find but there seems to be several color combos available in the decals based on the car color. TIA

All '86 Vettes were known as "Pace Cars", and dealers provided decal kits to be installed later, but, IMHO the yellow one that Chuck Yeager driove at Indy is the only real pace car. Chev did not sell replicas of the yellow indy with decals applied. I think Corvette Central and Ecklers sell the decals. If you do a "GOOGLE search" for 1986 Corvette Pacecar decals you might find other decal makers also have them. I understand there's a decal place in Ariz that sells all kinds of special Corvette decals including theose on '82 special editions etc. Friend in our Vette club got the '82 decals from them. If I can get more info I'll post it.

I may be wrong, but I think there was only one GM pace car decal set, that they sold for all color cars.

Ecklers list 3 different sets and Phoenix list 4. All list the colors in the sets but none say what color decals go with what base color. Thanks.

Does a pic of a black car help out? I believe all the dark colored cars got this combo.

Nice car. Black had the all gold set as shown on that car. From what I have heard the only color to get all gold. Thanks
