2009 Porsche 911 Turbo. My cousin was bragging on his friends
Porsche. That made me sick. So isnt the Corvette better looking?
Its all a matter of personal taste. No, I do not think the C4 is better looking than a 09 911 Turbo. Infact, the only Vettes I think are better looking is the C6Z/C6ZR1.Originally Posted by VetteDriven

I like them both. I'm a fan of the earlier air cooled 911 Turbo cars.

As was stated before, it's all personal tastes. If everybody liked the same thing, we'd all be driving the exact same body style car. While that would make parts easier to come by, it would get boring quick. Personally, I like the Porsche better. The reason I like my Corvette so much is because I own it!

ExploreWell I'm a Porsche guy as well as a Vette guy (can only afford one right now though, lol), so of course i like the Turbo better. But the C4 does pretty well for a 20+ year old chassis...
There sure is a big difference in $$$
I went on ebay for giggles after seeing this thread. I had no idea that they were going for that much dough

Probably with the cargraphic aerobody kit.
I like it ! Actual state of the art german design.
I always hated the whale tail, and the new appendages aren't much better looking. Too bad, because they have always been good looking cars otherwise.
You're better off comparing the C4 with the 911 of its era and the new ZR1 vs the new Porsche. C4 with new Porsche is apples to oranges. ZR1 is in its class.
It's tough to compare. I like both, I'm definitely a Porsche "guy" even though I'm a C4 owner, and I have to say I can appreciate the classic look of a 911 more than the C4, no matter the year. The C4 has more of a designer's look, like somebody just sat down and drew it in an afternoon. It doesn't look like the C3. When I look at a Porsche 911, from any year, that hasn't changed fundamentally in decades, it's obvious to me that I'm looking at a personal car manufactured by a racecar company. It's clear that it's designed more from an engineer's perspective, less from an artist's perspective. It's all business, form following function. It becomes even more apparent when you look in the engine bay, under the car, etc. Everything is totally integrated and tucked together (which is one reason they're so hard to work on).

So I'd vote for no...
