1985 spare tire
Does anyone know were I can find a spare tire? I still have the rim and the tire size is P155/80D16 or T155/80D16. The old tire was rotted. I've had one on order for 3 months now and still no tire. I don't want one out of a junk yard.

Yes, but they are discontinued. A Toyota spare will work for later model C4's. I still have the OEM wheels and the spare is different for 84, 85 and 86. The spare on the 84, 85 and 86 came on a good quality aluminium rim. A new tire can be easily mounted. Later cars came with a rim and tire that had to be replaced as a complete unit.
I quess this is one reason that after market or later model wheels are so popular on early C4's.

After an extensive search I have found that the compact spare tire is no longer available. Old spares can be found but they are so old they can not be used. Coker Tire does not have them in their inventory yet.
I hope this saves someone else the time of trying to track down a spare tire.
