GM parts direct charges $30.00 core charge.
GM part as good or superior to aftermarket . They are not known for screws coming loose and cratering the cap and rotor.
A GM unit without a wash down usually go over 200,000 miles and are good to 6200 rpms with no flutter.
Can't say that for the HEI .
Good unit bad position of placement , there's a difference.
