Default quick digi dash question...
I've noticed on the 84-91 style digital dash displays that the tachometer reads X10 when the rpms are below 1000. Meaning...if the rpms are 850, the dash shows 85.

Why doesn't mine do this? All mine shows is X100 view, so if its 800, all I see is an 8.

What do you have? Probably an engineer decided it really did not need to be broken down that precise. It falls under the it is what it is. Idealogy.

My car is an '85, and every other 85 I've seen has done the X10 readout when at idle...I guess I'm just stuck with what I've got??
