I really made a guy upset one time at a car show. He had his Vette all tricked with the Whale tail fin and body kit stuff. I just asked him that if he really wanted a Firebird why he didn't just buy one. Hey, i know some of y'all have that stuff on your car and it ain't none of my bid-ness. It's your car...if you like it that is what matters.

Do what U like and what makes U happy, everything ain’t 4 everybody. I've seen Vettes with out spoilers or spoiler kits that look real nice, and I've seen them with kits (when install right) that will turn more than a few heads. Really it's U'r car so it's U'r preference.

I'm tossing around the idea of going with the DRM type spoiler that wraps around the back window... I think it looks good, but still not sold.

what companys make spoilers(rear wing) that actually somehow attach to (frame?)something strong so they actually do some good? is greenwood the only place that makes reall, functional wings?

Sorry, don't have a picture of the rear wing. (ok, I get confused with spoiler and wing...but that is fodder for another time) I put mine on about a year ago. enhances the style, the look, the function of the car. It is something to stand over your car with a drill in hand saying, I'm going to hurt you baby...... But, I did it and will not go back. Put my Ecklers, or MID or CC wing (ok, I can't remember, on last year and am not looking back.) But I did. Have been caught in a number or rain storms. You should see the rooster tail this puppy puts out. Kinda tells you what is happening in calm air with no rain. Damn, the rooster tail is something else. If I were somebody else on the right side when I passed, I hike up the speed of the wipers....my .02 cents....I'd do it...Drive it on a wet road, and you'll know where I'm coming from....-C4- :flag

I get so tired of Corvette owners who think the only true show vete is one that is one that came off the show room floor. They are the ones that buy a vette keep it in a bubble in between shows and then think the have the best vette in the world. Then if someone comes along and wants to modify a car they get all bent. I think they are afraid they will get beat in a show or someone will not notice their car. I have seen some modifications that I think are not attractive but I have never put down an owner like some of these self rightous jerks.
