Default Riddle me this

Is it really true that the Corvette assembly line begins with a post to hold the heater core, four posts to hold the taillights then the car built around the five posts?

It sure seems like it if you're trying to work on any of the above items.

nope, thats a lie, the tail lights are installed into the rear panel long before the car is installed onto the rear panel.

The rear panel is set on 2 posts, then they just fill in the blank spot

Makes sense.I think the ancestor of the guy who thought this up is the same guy that invented the Iron Maiden.

The heater cores were actually designed and installed by a few old egyptian engineers whose ancestors built the great pyramids and were responsible for burying the great rulers and their treasures deep where nobody could ever get to them. This inherited skill was passed down through the generations from Cairo all the way to Bowling Green.

After nearly forty years in practice as a gynecologist, John decided he had enough money to retire and take up his real love, auto mechanics. He left his practice, enrolled in auto mechanics school, and studied hard.

The day of the final exam came and John worried if he would be able to complete the test with the same proficiency as his younger classmates. Most of the students completed their exam in two hours. John, on the other hand, took the entire four hours allotted. John tossed and turned in bed that night, dreading the next morning when the exam scores would be returned.

The following day, John was delighted and surprised to see a score of 150% for his exam.

John spoke to his professor after class. "I never dreamed I could do this well on the exam. But tell me, how did I earn a score of 150%?"

The professor replied, "I gave you 50% for perfectly disassembling the car engine. I awarded another 50% for perfectly reassembling the engine. I gave you an additional 50% for having done all of it through the muffler."
GM hired him and he assembled each and every C4 that GM built.

Well, its done. Got lights all around. It will take weeks for the bruises on my right arm to go away. What a way to spend Veterans Day morning.

A hundred years from now, all you will have to do is set up the
transporter and beam the bad parts in and out. Every Autozone will have one.
