I got purchased a 1987 vette and the dash cluster was showing oil pressure,rpm, and seemed to work except it wouldn't light up. So I unplugged the unit, took it out of the car and tested all the bulbs with a jumper wire and a 12volt battery out of the unit. The bulbs all lite up so I put the cluster back in the car now nothing works at all. the unit is black. How do I get this thing working? New to corvette's and hope to enjoy. Don't understand why at least the first items didn't start working again. Nothing else was done. Thank for any help. Glenn

sorry, if this seems/sounds obvious, however the fuse might have blown. Also the light dimmer might be turned off.
