Sorry to see "Buster" Couch passed away. Some of the younger guys may have not heard of him, but he was for a long time NHRA's chief starter.

I worked for NHRA for many years and Buster was a great guy. I, for one, will miss him.

 

I worked with Buster at NHRA too. Was floored to read that he had passed. Talked with him at Memphis last fall and he had us in stitches as always. He will be missed. Hope they have an arena sized chapel at the funeral home as they'll need it. RIP Buster!! :blueangel:
