slight noise when cold
Hey guys, maybe you could help with this. When the car is cold and I drive it and come to a stop, I can hear a slight clunk noise either coming from the rear or u-joints. Once it warms, the noise is no longer there. Any guesses as to what it may be? Other wise the car shifts perfectly fine.

Might try doing a search on Rear end noise. I bet it is just the posi making some noise until the lube gets warm.. Might try changing the lube in the rearend if not done recently

The noise is only when coming to a stop as the gears wind down to a standstill. Again, the noise is gone when warm. Does it sound like u-joint or the nrmal noise of a posi gearing down ?
