I am curoius as to what is involved in upgrading the base suspension to Z51. I understand that I have to replace springs and sway bars. Anything else? Has anyone else done this? How much $$$?

Well if you want JUST the suspension part of it....
Springs, sway bars, bilstein shocks, bushings. That should just about cover it. There were lots more items included with Z51/Z52.

Hi All,
I am curoius as to what is involved in upgrading the base suspension to Z51. I understand that I have to replace springs and sway bars. Anything else? Has anyone else done this? How much $$$?

Don't forget the steering rack, if I remember correctly stock is about 4 turns lock to lock and Z51 is about 2. My Z52 is 2.5 turns with many of the same Z51 suspension pieces. I think the sway bars and springs are slightly different, but it has the Blistiens and the big wheels. I love it, its a required option as far as I'm concerned (Z51 or Z52)
