Last year I installed the Wilcox WS package and usec:
-new WS
-3M WS adhesive
-WS adhesive solvent
-popsickle sticks to scrape out old WS & adhesive
-lithium grease on rails for hatch WS
-tips & instructions from Wilcox
-hot sunny day so new WS would be extral pliable
-broom handle to prop open rear hatch while removing one strut at a time in order to slide in the hatch WS

When installing WS on the windshield header and on the bow I attached the sides first, then the center of the long piece and worked out toward the sides.

I also used the popsickle sticks to push the edge of the WS down into the channel with minimal chance of tearing it.

My old WS was total crap, so cleaning off old WS & adhesive was the lion share of the job.

I have heard very good things on Wilcox.
I just need doors, and rear portion of roof and will go through them

I've used the Wilcox WS on the front and back of the top on my 94 coupe. It worked great. I did it last summer and am very happy with their WS.

Sounds like Wilcox gets the nod. I bought mine off of one of the other big Vette parts sites (can't remember which one).

The ad said, "special custom-fit, blah, blah, etc." and it came in--it was ALL from China...

Long story short, that crap never would seal no matter how much I adjusted the windows. I ended up ripping out the new main windshield/A-pillar piece, the new rear piece (the one just aft of the doors), and both new targa-top pieces and replacing the whole mess with GM factory replacements. The GM stuff works perfectly...

Thanks EL,

Oh, "It's two L's not one". Common mistake but it makes us hard to find!

Rad,

It may be that the link you posted is not a supporting vendor. I'm not sure and maybe someone else will apply more logic to this. Don't look for a new forum, this one is by far the best, I'm sure the mods were just protecting interest here.

I got the Willcox for my A pillar and top of the windshield piece. I like it. The fit was so precise, I only used the 3M glue at the ends where the door closes. The rest of it fit so tight and perfectly, I didn't even need the glue.

One more vote for Willcox.
