I would think that would be what hot-rodding is all about. I was born and breed on 5.0's and still have one today. That car loves anything and everything you throw at it. They only get faster and faster. I have bought and built this car for 1/3 of what my vette cost

Still pretty.....
Yeah but it's a flexible flyer chassis that gets at best 14 mpg. I suspect this post is just to get people riled...
Im a hardcore GM guy and always will be. A few months back I actually got the chance to drive a '85 mustang gt 5spd with lt's and a few other mods. Was actually a fun car to drive and felt like it had enough power for daily driving.
But a Ford engine in a Chevy? Lets go with heck no!
I would think that would be an insult to the Corvette and all the people at GM that designed the car.
As a matter of fact a few weeks back when I was looking for a daily driver I almost bought a '91 Stang gt though it was sold by the time I could get to it.

Less cubes, less torque, less horsepower, more oil burning. Makes no sense.
Less cubes....but way over one horsepower per cubic inch. And sooo easy to make. No where as much trouble as a vette. I'm not a chevy guy or a ford guy. I'm a car guy. I would drive a shopping cart if it burned rubber through four gears. This post is not to get people riled up, but to open different channels in car crafting.
Had plenty of those 5.0s..you can make them fast but most feel faster than they really are and take work to keep the unibody stiff enough to keep them going straight.
Good bang for the buck car like the Vette but no way in hell would I trade a 350 for a 302.Did trade the 302 for a 460 in one though.
