Default Passenger door lock not working

I have a 1995 C4. It has electric door locks. The passenger lock does not seem to work either with the remote or the key. I always have to get inside the car and reach over and unlock the door manually. Even when I use the driver side unlock mechanism (for the passenger side), the passenger door does not unlock. The little slider mechanism twitches, but never opens. Occasionally I can get it to open and close using the driver's side mechanism or the remote, but it is extremely rare. I suspect that I need to replace something to make it work. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Replace the door lock actuator. You need to remove the door panel. Its located in the lower right corner of the door. They get weak before they ultimately fail. It will need to be drilled out to be removed and the replacement riveted back in pace

Neither of my door lock actuators worked when I bought my vette. There is better than good chance the linkage is bound up and needs to be cleaned, lubed, etc. You may be able to remove the door panel and work in some lube while moving the lock back and forth. I used some silicone stuff I had hanging around.

You'll know instantly if the actuator needs replacing if it doesn't move with the panel out of the way and nothing binding.
