Default Help! Car Problem

Well I have a 91 vette vert. I had it parked for about 2 weeks it was low on gas, it started up fine and i was on my way to fill her up, when I started to lose power pushing on the gas and only jerking along at 5miles an hour, it also begain making a poping noise like a popcorn machine I made it to the gas station but it died out right before pulling up to the pump. I filled her up, she started up ran rough for 3 secs than smoothed out, i than pulled out on to the street it accelerated fine i pushed on the gas a little bit more and then it felt like it died but it was running, I lost all power the gas pedal didnt work and it wont start at all now.
I AAA it to my house and am near broke, I need to get this car running! Please Help!

Another note, previously i would sometime also have issue when accelerating from a stop it would kind of jerk as i gained speed and then smooth out.

Ive tried starting it and feeding it gas, but it wont go, I pushed on the Schrader valve and gas was released so i think gas is getting to the engine.

Pushing on the schrader, did it spray out with force or just leak up and out? Run a pressure gauge to it, see what kind of pressure it is putting out!

than that would be a clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump, quick and easy fix, under $100.

If you were that low in gas you might of just messed up the pick up filter that is in the tank on the end of your fule pump, I would check that first.

Here's another vote for clogged fuel filter. It's not a good idea to run one low on gas. After 17 years, there's probably all kinds of gunk in the bottom of that tank. When you run it low on fuel you run a real risk of some of that stuff getting in the fuel line and clogging your filter.

Changed out the fuel filter, more pressure, the schrader valve seems to have more pressure behind it now, but it still wont start
