Default How to check a code

I need to know how I can pull a code I got the service engine soon one on my way home from the movies tonight. Help fast!!

Just paper clip the A and G slots on your ALDL and turn engine on. Codes will pop up on speedometer.

thought it was a + b with the flashing of the check engine as a way to pull codes.....doesn't a+g short the system?

Hi Jim, Suisun has really improved in a lot of ways over the last 20 years. I can't say that I know Tiny but there are some very good Mexican restaurants here. If it is the one next to the Veteran's Hall on Main Street it is still there and is still serving great food. Suisun has come a long ways from that sleepy little town next to the Suisun marsh.

If you just want to count flashes you can do it that way but if you want to get more detailed then do as Jabez said. You can see what module the codes are in by shorting A & G.
