Default snow day

I woke up today to some pretty crazy snow, went to work, still snowed ! got home barely got in the drive way with all wheel drive jeep. Then I opened the garage to take on the snow, and I realized that my vette is not even as tall as my snow drifts! this was nuts I had snow on both my decks that was over 4 ft! the railings had a couple feet, and the sides of my drive way in some spots were up to my drivers window it was nuts. It makes me think how right now some guy in Florida is driving with his top off or down and eating a outside!

Taken last week. (The Corvette is safely parked in the garage.)

The "down time" winter gives me a chance to do repairs and improvements. The outside window seals are being replaced tonight, other things will be worked on as time and my frame of mind allow.

You are so right...I spent part the day driving with the top down and listening to the radio (after I finished washing the roadster), I think the high for today was close to 78-80 degrees, this is our time to enjoy the nice weather here in Florida!

We don't have the snow but I could definitely stand some of that warmth. The vettes look forgotten under their covers in the garage.

We've only had a few inches of snow, and I'm ready for spring already - ugh!

We've had our third snow yesterday, but the vettes are put away for the winter; part of the life in the mountain country of Colorado. As much as I would like to drive them year round, I appreciate the snow as it gives us surface water, recharges the groundwater, and keeps the trees and ground cover moist. This is important to us as we do have forest fires. I've been thru 3 forest fires and while they came close, I was lucky. So like I said, I appreciate the snow. In 1993, had a 5 foot snowfall, what a pain it was shoveling. Put a plow on my blazer the next summer. No more major shoveling. Use my 4 wheel drive vehicles during the winter.

and now they're saying that Global Warming is going to be the cause of Global Cooling. I don't get it, I guess this way no matter what happens the tree huggers will be right
