If i do the C5 brake conversion, do i need to go up to 17" rims?

I have never done it but from what I have read, I would say yes.

Yes you do..And you will also need C5 or aftermarket 17 inch rims because the C4 ones rub on the calipers unless you want to grind on them for clearance..
